Visa application fees
The fee for a Schengen visa or transit visa is €60. Visas for children aged 6 to 11 years cost €35. There is no charge for visas for children aged five and under.
Travellers from the following countries pay a reduced fee of €35: Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Georgia, Moldova, Russia, Serbia and Ukraine.
If your application is refused, the fee will not be refunded. As a rule, you must pay the fee in the local currency. In exceptional cases (for instance if the local currency is not convertible), you must pay in another currency. You may also have to pay other costs incurred in processing your application, such as the cost of sending faxes.
